Intermediate/Senior Full Stack Developer with FinTech Experience

Jybe, is looking for its first full-time technical hire to join its dynamic and energetic team. We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer with expertise in fintech to help us build our innovative MVP. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Fintech applications, Fullstack experience, working with API's, Fintech security, and DevOps.

About The Role:

The lucky incumbent will be tasked with developing Jybes MVP. Working with the CEO and interim CTO in a small start-up your roles will be fluid, and rewarding and have the potential to grow within the company as it scales. You’ll be managed directly by our interim CTO with 26 years of experience launching technical products, working with them to plan, build, execute, and launch a disruptive consumer-based financial tech product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the MVP software application
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Identify problem areas in code and suggest solutions on how to tackle
• Assist in designing and evaluating software and technology choices
• Rapidly test your solutions
• Develop solutions that are maintainable, scalable and performant
• Develop and maintain the front-end of the application using React.js
• Develop and maintain the back-end of the application using either Node.js or Python
• Build and maintain the application database using either MySQL or MongoDB
• Host the application on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implement payment processing using Stripe payment gateway
• Implement identity verification services using third party API’s
• Implement bill payment processing using third party payments platform.
• Ensure the security of the application by implementing OAuth, OpenID Connect, and

SAML protocols

• Maintain and optimize the application's DevOps using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a full-stack developer in a FinTech environment
• Strong experience with React.js, Node.js or Python, MySQL or MongoDB, AWS, and

Stripe payment gateway

• Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols for authentication and authorization
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
